Nu Finish Overview

Nu Finish gave us the great opportunity to be a part of their commercial advertising their car polish. We built a set separating half of the car showing the before and after using their product. In the commercial, people were able to view half of the car that is displaced on a rotating platform. It showed half of the car dirty,and the other half looking brand new. As the platform rotates, half of the car glistens with the Nu polish making it look nice and clean.Nu finish’s purpose of the commercial is to show how you can make your car look brand new.

In order to get the side profile cut for this vehicle, we needed to do a 3D scan of the car. Getting this scan allowed us to get the exact measurement of this vehicle which you see the contour oi the car.Our carpenters manufactured the car border out of plywood. After building it, they bender board to seal off the open edges. The painters then spackled the wall removing any imperfections or holes that the wood may have. Once spackle is dried it is then sanded down to a smooth finish. The wall is then painted matte white.
