LA Set Construction had the exciting opportunity to fabricate a custom display for Nu Finish's commercial, highlighting the transformative effect of their car polish. This unique set featured a split car silhouette mounted on a rotating platform, visually demonstrating how the polish rejuvenates a vehicle’s appearance. As the platform rotated, one side of the car, left dirty and unpolished, contrasted dramatically with the gleaming, polished side, clearly showing how Nu Finish makes any car look brand new.

To accurately replicate the car’s side profile, we began with a 3D scan of the vehicle. This process allowed us to measure every curve and contour with precision, ensuring that the silhouette fit perfectly on the rotating platform.
Our carpentry team constructed the silhouette’s structure using high-quality plywood, providing a sturdy base. For a smooth, sealed edge, bender board was applied along the open borders.
