LA Set Construction had the great pleasure of fabricating a one-of-a-kind immersive photo opportunity for Los Angeles Rams football fans at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. Partnering with Phantom, we helped bring their vision to life by constructing a 3D aircraft fuselage set inspired by the video game Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
The goal of this activation was to transport attendees from the electric energy of the stadium into the adrenaline-charged world of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. By stepping inside the realistic 3D structure, fans could take photos with a green screen background, placing them in intense combat scenes straight from the game.
This interactive brand activation was not just an exciting photo experience, but also a strategic marketing installation, engaging new audiences and immersing fans into the gaming universe of Call of Duty.
Planning + Design
Our team carefully strategized the design and fabrication of the Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 photo op to maximize visual impact and player engagement. We focused on high-traffic areas at the stadium, ensuring that fans walking by would immediately be drawn to the experience.
The primary goals were:
✔ Create an immersive set that fans could step inside for an authentic in-game experience.
✔ Design an eye-catching exterior to promote Warzone 2.0 and encourage participation.
✔ Incorporate a green screen effect to allow for customized backgrounds, enhancing the illusion.
✔ Ensure durability and stability for high-volume foot traffic throughout the event.
This activation was built to stand out in a dynamic event environment, offering a memorable, high-energy experience for attendees.
✔ The photo op was built as an enclosed structure, resembling the inside of a military aircraft from Warzone 2.0.
✔ Plywood was cut and assembled to form the base, walls, and ceiling of the set.
✔ Metal rods were incorporated along the walls, adding a realistic aircraft interior aesthetic.
✔ Structural Integrity: Our carpenters assembled all walls and components, ensuring a perfect fit and long-term stability.
✔ Surface Refinement: Spackle was applied to fill any cracks or nail holes, ensuring a smooth finish.
✔ Sanding & Priming: Once the spackle dried, it was sanded and primed to prepare for painting.
✔ The interior of the set was painted with custom green screen paint, covering all walls to allow for background editing in post-production.
✔ Black paint was applied in key areas to eliminate unwanted reflections, ensuring a clean visual effect.
✔ A protective sealant was added to increase durability, especially in high-traffic areas.
✔ Custom-printed vinyl graphics featuring Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 branding were carefully applied to the exterior of the set.
✔ Flooring vinyl was installed inside the set to enhance the illusion of stepping into a real aircraft environment.
This exterior branding ensured that the activation was visible from all angles, attracting fans from across Sofi Stadium.
The finished Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 photo op was an instant hit among football fans at Sofi Stadium. It successfully:
✔ Transported fans into the game world, bringing them face-to-face with their favorite Warzone 2.0 battle scenes.
✔ Created a visually engaging experience, drawing crowds throughout the event.
✔ Served as a high-impact marketing tool, increasing awareness of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
